August, 31th is a special day for a blogosphere. It’s a Blog Day.
What has happened since the beginning of the year? What has been changed in projects, in which I participate? What has been changed in my private life?
Yes, I know. Since… a long, long time ago… nothing happened on blog.karolzielinski.com. I’m really sorry about that. However… right now I need to share with you some new informations.
Some time ago I heard that I should improve my English skills; that I should learn how to write English… as well as if I’m Polish, then I should write Polish. No f*in’ way!
Answer is really simple: it depends. It depends on the target of your blog; it depends on the visitors of your blog. And what’s the most important… it depends on the type of published content.
I was fighting with myself for a long time. Finally … I gave up. I created new folder in my Google Reader and have subscribed there all kind of blogs about productivity, GTD, personal development, etc. And it was worth of it. Now I’d like to recommend 15 best (in my opinion) blogs related to these topics.
From time to time I like to read topics like ‘how to promote your blog’, ‘how to promote your website’, ‘how to promote … (put anything you want)’. All of these rules are similar (of course we are talking about promotion of web-based ‘something’), however some of them… are simply useless and could waste your time. Today I will write about some rules of promoting, based on my own experience, as well as e.g. this news.
I just found one interesting article about stopping spam on WordPress’ blog. Article is from catswhocode.com and is called “Top 10 ways to stop spam in WordPress”. Everything’s fine. We should fight with all kind of spammers. However… not all the possible ways.
