I didn’t have any resolutions for the last year, neither for the year before. More… I didn’t have any resolutions ever. This time I decided to change it and think about the things, which I have to do in 2010.

Why I want to have resolutions? Simple: I think that they can help me to do these things, in fact. I belive that the resolutions could help me to prioritize my plans for 2010.
Now, the list of my resolutions…
Resolutions related to my career:
- graduate school (Bachelor of Engineer in fact)
- learn to and pass the exam for Sun certificate (SCJP – Sun Certified Java Programmer)
- learn to and pass the exam for PRINCE2 certificate (PRINCE2 Foundation)
- learn to and pass the exam for advanced users of English (CAE – Certificate in Advanced English)
- learn to and develop experience in programming for iPhone (using Objective-C)
Resolutions related to my private life:
- learn how to be a good father and try to be a good father
Resolutions related to my projects (projects, which I manage; which I founded):
- write here at least once per two days (or better once a day)
- increase traffic to this blog; I’d like to have at least 1k unique users per day
- promote and increase traffic to develway.pl; I’d like to have at least 1k unique users per day
- gain more involved users to tspot.pl / en.tspot.pl
- finish and promote my new web-based project; it’s not available for anybody, right now
Resolutions related to… that’s the secret (some day it won’t be a secret anymore):
- one secret resolution related to something, that I always wanted to do
- one secret resolution related to something, that I’d like to try
It won’t be easy, however I have to believe in my possibilities.

I believe, that by public sharing of resolutions – they become more obliging. Do not caring the public resolutions is much harder, than these private ones.

A college-mate of mine developed a web-site for making your resolutions stick: http://www.stickk.com/
By making them public and having other people engage you have a higher chance of actually sticking to your goals. Its really hard to do something alone with only yourself being the coach. Behind anyone successful is always a group of great mentors.
