One important thing at the beginning… it’s in Polish. Yes, I know that I didn’t want to create stricte Polish applications anymore. However… this time – it was stronger than me. We didn’t have dzone.com in Poland, so I just thought that it could be a good idea to create one. So I did it… develway.pl has been launched.

What is develway?

Like I said before… it’s some kind of social news website made for people to discover and share content. My main target is to reach IT specialists, programmers, web developers, server administrators, hackers, IT project managers, etc. Develway is some kind of digg.com for technologists, it’s some kind of Polish dzone.com (but better!).

Will it be multi-language (maybe in english)?

I think so. However… at this time I don’t know when. My first task is to promote it in Poland. After that I will think about conquering the world.

What about the promotion?

For now… I failed. Yes, that’s true and I am not afraid to say that. One of the main reason why my first part of promotion has failed, is because sorbs.net thinks that I am a spammer (IP of my VPS is on blacklist). Everything because of the previous owner of this VPS. And what’s the worst thing in it… I can’t change it. Someone from SORBS said:

“You are an innocent party that has been included in a escalated listing because your provider (Rackspace cloud services) is happy to host spammer(s) that have spammed a SORBS spamtrap or admin.

You are not required to make a donation for delisting as the entry was not generated because of your actions, however the listing will not be removed until your service provider terminates the spammers or makes the required donation.

Please take this issue up with your service provider and have them contact us directly, there is nothing you can do yourself to have this listing changed or removed.”

So… I have a trouble. I hope that my provider (come on slicehost!) will change it. Right now… I’m on blacklist and a lot of mail servers mark my mails as a spam.
